Vladimir Putin's mistress Svetlana Krivonogikh has been revealed as the owner of another elite apartment, according to a report by independent outlet Mozhem Obyasnit (“We Can Explain”).
The 130-square-meter apartment is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg in a mid-19th century revenue house on Bolshaya Moskovskaya Street. An extract from the cadastral record indicates that Krivonogikh became the owner of the property in August 2004 – a few months after she gave birth to Putin's daughter Elizaveta, also known as Luiza Rozova.
Property rental ads from the owners of other apartments in the same building describe “a closed guarded courtyard with an abundance of greenery, flowers, benches and a playground”. Krivonogikh also owns a parking space in the underground parking lot.
Independent outlet Proekt revealed the ties between Krivonogikh and Putin in 2021. The investigation covered other assets belonging to Putin’s mistress – her family owns apartments in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Sochi with a total value of 1.1 billion roubles (close to $16 million).
